Terms of Service
Plenum is operated by Ventra Marketing LLC (“Ventra”, “we”, “us”), a Texas company. These terms are the agreement between us and the business that signs up (“you”). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your business.
1. What Plenum is
Plenum is software for writing bids, sending invoices, and tracking payments. It is a tool: you decide what you bid, what you charge, and what you send. We don’t give legal, tax, or accounting advice, and the documents you create are yours and your responsibility.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us right away if you think your account was accessed without permission.
- You’re responsible for what happens under your account, including what people you invite do.
- Each person signs in with their own login. Owners can add and remove people at any time.
3. Free trial, plans and billing
- New accounts get a free trial. No card is needed to start.
- After the trial, continued use of sending features requires a paid plan, billed in advance each month through Stripe. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
- You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We don’t refund partial months.
- If a payment fails or a plan ends, your data stays. You can still sign in, see everything, invoice approved work, and receive payments — sending new bids pauses until a plan is active.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email.
4. Getting paid online
If you turn on online payments, your customers pay you through Stripe, into a Stripe account that belongs to your business. Payment processing services for users on Plenum are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By agreeing to these terms or continuing to use online payments, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as it may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of Plenum enabling payments through Stripe, you agree to provide us accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize us to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment services provided by Stripe.
Ventra never holds your customers’ money. Refunds, disputes, chargebacks and payouts are between you, your customer, and Stripe. If we charge a platform fee on online payments, it is shown in Settings before you turn payments on.
5. Your data
- Your customers, bids, invoices and payment records belong to you. We use them only to run Plenum for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You’re responsible for having the right to store your customers’ information and to email them through Plenum.
- If you close your account, you can ask us for an export first. We delete account data within 90 days of closing, except what the law requires us to keep.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use Plenum to send spam or anything deceptive, to bill for work you aren’t providing, to break the law, or to try to get into other companies’ data or our systems. We may limit sending or suspend an account that does, and we’ll tell you why.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep Plenum running and your data safe and backed up, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may change or improve features over time.
8. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages (like lost profits), and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Plenum in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Plenum at any time. We can end these terms with 30 days’ notice, or right away for a serious breach.
10. Changes and law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email account owners at least 14 days before. Texas law governs these terms, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Erath County, Texas.
